Well, I am hardly a new member. I have been M.I.A. since December '09 but that hardly means I have fallen off because obtaining healthy hair growth has been an ongoing obsession since my BC.
After the BC, I learned that I had a problem with moisture retention. No matter how much I moistured, my hair puffs would dry out and the ends of my hair would have a brown tint. Also, my dauther has thick kinky curls and it was a pain to detangle her hair because it would dry quickly and shrink...
