Hi Saunta. I've added a little to my prepoo oil mix and I'm using it in my leave in. I haven't noticed too much of a difference yet, as I've just started using it in the prepoo. But my leave ins (I got the ingredients from KimmyTube) are feeling really moisturized and the softness lasts much longer.

I'm not sure where you can find one over there, I have never noticed any but I remember I was on another forum and some people just took their regular comb and filed down the seams with a nail file but I am not sure how well that works I never tried it. Do you shop online?

Those mid-shaft splits use to drive me crazy but I started using a seamless comb and that helped a lot, I still get them but not as much.

I am using FHI Heat. I have never used a steam iron does it get your hair straighter than a regular flat iron?

Hey Saunta. I keep getting kicked out of the thread for some reason, so I came here to say CONGRATS on MOTM!!!! You deserve it!!!!!

I usually only flat iron once or twice a year, and only in the fall or winter or else it won't last. I don't have any problem getting my hair straight, the strands of my hair are fine and light so 1 or 2 passes is enough. I usually just wash, deep condition, apply heat protectant, blowdry and then flat iron sometimes I use a slight bit of shea butter after I blowdry. By the time I'm done I'm hot, sweaty, tired...so I don't do it often. I am going to flat iron in October, I will post a pic. What about you?
