Hi! I saw in your album you asked for tips for growing out the edges. I lost my edges too due to not basing my scalp before getting a relaxer and I lost a lot of the hair on the crown of my head. I have pictures in my albums of it. I think it's under braid out or something like that. Anyway, I started massages castor oil mixed with sweet almond oil onto my edges, b/c they are both meant to promote hair growth. It worked like a charm! Not only did the hair come back, but it can back stronger. I've heard some ladies use stimulant products to re-grow hair, things like peppermint oil and cayenne pepper. I know they'll add a couple drops of the peppermint oil to a carrier oil like castor or coconut oil. As far as the cayenne pepper, Naomimaxine is the expert on that here, and there's a thread on it as well. HTH and welcome to BHP!

Ok, So I Washed My Hair Yesterday. Omg, I Just Can't Put Into Words How Pleased I Am About My Results....I Do 3 Washes With Optimum Care Anti-Breakage Therapy Shampoo. While I Was Washing, My Hair Never Felt So Silky In My Whole Entire Life. The Left Side Of My Hair Is Kind Of Brittle Looking (It Has Thickened Up) & It Has Gotten Stronger & Longer. So After That, I Conditioned For 15 Min. W/ Optimum Care Anti-Breakage Therapy Conditioner.....Omg, It Was Straight Lavender, Satin, Silk...Anything...

So today is month 1 of my hair journey...im so very excited!!! So I Started My Hair Journey 10-12-09 [October 12, 2009/Starting Point Is Profile Pic]. My Reason: Just To Take Better Care Of My Hair Because I Treated It Like CRAP.
