Let's get right to the point with this one. Dr. Ian starts you off on the Fat Smash Diet with a 9 day detox. The detox allows you to eat all of the fruits and veggies you want. However there are some things that you can not eat such as bread, meat of any kind, soda, nuts, dried fruits and potatoes just to name a few.Dr. Ian also lets you know that in order for this to work you must work out at least 5 days a week for 30 minutes each day, and you must eat 4-5 meals a day. After the nine days of detox...

My co-worker told me about the GNC Women’s Ultra Mega multivitamin about a year ago. I decided that I would give it a try b/c I knew that I needed something to balance out my diet. Ok, well this entry will probably have to be updated quite a few times. My reggies have pretty much remained the same with some minor changes:

My Hair
  • Co-wash daily with NTM Daily Deep Conditioner with the orange cap and/or Garnier... (I am addicted, the Garnier products really do well with my 4a/4b hair)
  • Deep Condition Once a week. I rotate each week between Elasta QP DPR-11, NTM Mask, and Garnier Deep conditioner with EVOO and Tea Tree Oils added
  • Clarify with J&J Baby

Everyone has to start somewhere. I am thankful that I found BHP. After spending a couple months on other sites I feel like I have finally found a place where I can learn and grow on my journey to living healthy and taking care of myself.

My Hair
Right now I am in the transitioning stages. I decided that I was tired of putting chemicals in my hair and wanted to do the natural thing. It has been about a year since I have had a perm and so far it has been a challenge (to say the...
