Right u want the clear kind.

LOL, NOPE! It's so watery it will def cause the hair to revert. I use a light coating of coconut oil and maybe a tad of the shea mix for the ends. I haven't worn my hair straightened in a while, but I'll be doing so in a month so we'll really see then.

Oh ok well what is the brand that you have or what are some of the ingredients? Aloe Vera Gel (in general) works great for scarring, burns, bites, etc in addition to being good for hair. I think it should be good.
    Here's what I use

You're welcome! Get it from the health food store i.e. VitaminShoppe, Better Health Store, GNC, or similar. The kind I use has a watery consistency and doesn't have additives, just a mold inhibitor. Some people use the kind that is in the small tube at Rite Aid/Walgreens/WalMArt...it's more of a gel-like consistency.

Hey Red, I just saw a post in the natural group section. To soften up the natural hair I highly recommend what I call sheacoaloe lol - the shea butter/AV gel/Coconut Oil mix. It does wonders!!! My hair is always soft and fluffy with it. A little goes a long way...do not put it on the scalp tho it'll cause build up. On the scalp keep using the castor and possibly mix it with EVCO or EVOO if u want HTH

Thanks for the bdat wishes!!! Lace fronts are okay, but if you dont want to spend that much you could try the syntethic ones, they have some that you can actually flat iron...I like that one, its cute...
