You do a great job!! It shows that patience does pay off. I will definitely start taking my time, and stop trying to rush things. I notice that when I braid her hair it seems to grow quicker than when I do ponytails or other styles that require more handling everyday.

I have gone myself to braiders on different occassions here with mixed results. The one salon that turned out to be the most professional and did the best job, the lady gave me an apprentice and I was on that chair for 11 hrs.!!! I was the first person in the shop that day and the last one to go. The owner was so embarrassed that she gave me a discount.

The hair turned out great, but they were too expensive (about $300.00 for individual braids shoulder length). With my hair being slightly below shoulder level I can't even imagine how much they would charge. If they were more affordable I would take my daughter there every now and then. All the other places that I've been to were pretty dirty, loud and unprofessional. I would not take my child there even though they were cheap...

Thanks so much, I will check them out! You have some really good pics in your albums, I love how cute your daughter's hair look!! Do you do it yourself or do you take her to a salon?? I am trying my hand at braiding - my daughter's hair-, althougth I am not bad, for some reason my braids don't look as "clean" as when professionals do it, so after a few days they look "old" already...

Tell me how many people you would like to review products and which products. I am sure they will do them just for the free samples. Later we are going to push for paid reviews...so your right on time. I got 3-4 for ladies on here that really good with youtube....of course I will do some marketing on each video for more views.

Let me know and I will pm you with the addresses of those who do it...Also I going to start black hair hot sites...yours looks to be one....nice site.

I would love to get your product in. Do you think you can get some of the top ladies on the forum to review it? Also I do internet marketing for many salons, lace wigs vendors, and products. If you would like some more traffic let me know. I am reasonable.

It’s finally summer time and you are probably ready to have some fun in the sun! If you are anything like me, you are likely trying to soak up every bit of summer because before you know it, winter will be here again. I love biking, taking long walks, swimming, or spending all day at amusement parks during the summer months. All of these activities are great for my mind, body and soul, but wreck havoc on delicate tresses if they are not properly cared for.

It’s just as important...

Several years ago I lost a tremendous amount of hair after, what I believe, was an allergic reaction to toxic ingredients in a product I used in my hair. I went to several professionals and received injections in my scalp for treatment of alopecia, but not one could give me a definite diagnosis or treatment for the severe hair loss. For about 8 or 9 years; I struggled to grow my hair back; and still to this day, my hair grows slower and thinner in the affected areas, although it is not very noticeable...

Hair growth really depends on your hair growth cycle’s life span which can be anywhere from 2 to 6 years; genetics; and your overall health and diet. Unless a person is suffering from an excessive amount of stress for a prolonged period; illness, or maybe taking medication that either stunts the hair growth or makes the hair fall out, we are all experiencing hair growth at all times. Hair grows an average of .5” per month, give or take. When I say this, I don’t mean White people’s hair, but all...

When you wash your hair, does it seem really dry and brittle? Have you ever avoided washing your hair for weeks at a time, some of us for months, because you just knew it was going to take a few days for your hair to come back to life; to soften up or feel moisturized?

Well, the reason for the excessive dryness is that washing the hair with certain shampoos strips it of all its moisture because of the "bad ingredients" the majority of shampoos contain. Further damage is...
