My dd is pratically begging for me to put a perm back in her hair and I am furious!(lol)... I can only guess someones been talking and she heard 'em...my sis. for starters phoned me and asked why I couldn't do better by her... hair-wise...she's the only dd you have so make her look pretty and all that constructive "mumbo jumbo"....Yes invisible steam was rising even though I tried hard not to show it. But I'm grateful for the wake up call, she's right in so many ways....I'll just have...

Seems I've been out of action for months here now. So much of "life" has happened plus I've been so consumed with my new craft..."hand crafting jewelry now (how relaxing and rewarding)....thank God I found something I more than love doing!


My dd still is going natural with long un-healthy strings of permed hair sticking away from her beautiful natural short hair.

She has pleaded for me to leave the long thin strings along. But little does she...

I couldn't resist copy/pasting this recipe I found off yahoo answers for another poster... I would also love to try this recipe on my dd/self as well...I think the posters name was Abby. Can't wait to try this one!... thought I'll blog it here (for future reference).

Here it is Tuesday, June 24. and a lot has happened with DD and me on this journey of naturalism!!!

Poor DD hair hasn't been permed in weeks...her permed hair is thinning out and standing out in her pony tails as long stringy thinned stands of hair. I might have tell her I'm clipping ends again......Her new growth is beautiful and well tamed, I have been using the blow dryer on her hair after washings...I think maybe the next time I will try letting it naturally dry and moisturizing...

Ofcourse my natural products Beauty4Ashes made it days ago. I tried the products and I have nothing against them...but I'm sure I can find the same natural ingredients in a cheaper product line.

I mean after applying the shampoo/conditioner, I was not that deeply impressed. I guess the reviews from others proved to severe for me...Sort of like a good movie, people over-rate their viewing and when u actually watch it...it's like, well it was good but "not all that"!
