They're not saying add heat to your hair 15x a day. They were just saying it's ok to add heat to your hair every once in a while. I know being a Natural myself I get tired of wearing protective hairstyles and my hair being puffy. I straighten it every 2 months for length checks and when I'm about to get a trim. There's direct and indirect heat, which indirect is better to use. I personally think it's okay to add heat to hair every once in a while, but yes we all have our different opinions so there's nothing we can do about that.

I wanted to start this thing where you send a picture of your hair to the forum and get an opinion of all fellow BhPers and rate if its healthy or not you can list the problems you're having, the products you're using to get rid of it and how you style it daily.....what do you think ??
If your still down to start this challenge ...I'm down....I say length checks(w/heat) every two months just see where we are and if we can use some improvement...

I think it's a pretty nice idea, you can be the judge of your own or some would feel more confident getting an opinion from the experienced. Personally I'd like a personal opinion.

    Hi,

Once in a way using heat on the hair is fine. But we use it regularly then for sure you will damage your hair.
