Question What flatiron (high-end) should I buy?

    Hi everyone!

I'm kind of piggybacking off of Naomimaxine's question. I'm thinking of (still thinking...not sure ) buying myself a really good ceramic flat iron for Christmas. It will definitely be a splurge given my budget these days, but I hope to make it a good investment. My hair is 4bish and relatively coarse and textlaxed. I've heard some good things about Maxiglide, but also saw reviews where people said the little teeth can pull out your hair.

What would you recommend? Could you vote in the poll and then tell me why below?

    TIA!

FHI Runway is the best of the best and I will be waiting till Christmas because it's also the most expensive lol

    reasons why:

it works just as well as a Marcel iron, getting the hair softer and shinier

It is pretty costly, but as long as it's worth it! Hopefully the after Christmas sales will bring the price down a lot.

OT: I really like your hair color and mohawk! Nice!

Abbyz I've been asking the same question lol. Everybody keeps suggesting a damn FHI or CHI, and I'm like I'm broke! I can't afford those damn irons!

LOL That's why I'm making it a Christmas present to myself--I'll splurge a little and then start out the year broke but cute with straight hair . On a serious note, I'm sure if I get it, I'll go on a hair product/appliance diet for a good 4-5 months!!
I'll be keeping an eye on your thread though (thanks for starting it!!), I might end up spending so much on gifts for other people that I'll just get something a little cheaper.

Lol, I'm doing heavy research here! I'm seriously not trying to spend more than 40 bucks lmao. So I'm on ebay, and looking up reviews and everything.

5 times?? Do you have a heat cap for DCing? Maybe you should add it to your Christmas list. Just playing! Even with the cut your hair is amazing! I'm about to look for your regimen in your profile. How do you manage to use heat and color??
