I twist up my hair then clip it and I consider it protecting my ends.
    Buns too.
any style where your ends are not on your clothes.

i don't wear them everyday, but I consider it whenever my hair is off of my shoulders. Sometimes I just pin it up and have curls hanging in the front and all the back is pinned up with bobby pins.

Yup, thank goodness I didnt learn this the hard/ hurtful way.

But I wear a lacefront, but I recently got some Gold jewelery from Dubai, amongst it is a Gold pendant and chain. My lace front (14 inches) gets caught in the chain, and kinda gets pulled out. THANK GOD its the wig and not my hair, because I realise it would have done some serious damage!
Its all my opinion, or knowledge

When your hair gets longer protective styles get harder to do.

I disagree with longer hair having harder protective styles. I think it's much easier to braid and bun longer hair than it is shorter hair. Sometimes SL length hair doesn't look good in a bun. It's been much easier for me to wear buns when it got longer.

Besides, when its about BSL length, the ends arent rubbing against the clothes as much. It's more like laying on the clothes. Longer hair doesn't get torn apart like shorter hair does. I don't know too many people with really long hair wearing buns anyhow...... Its kinda weird because I thought we were supposed to wear buns for longer hair. Strange....
