Default what makes your Curls Pop ?

Ok.Im a 4a/with alittle 3b In some areas...Overall I have very thick coarse wavy hair and alot or care is needed to maintain my natural Curl pattern.
here is what i do for my 4a Popping Curls

-Keeping my hair moisturized and conditioned makes my waves come out.

-Using moisturizing products and hair lotions makes my curls pop ..I also add alittle gel(IC FANTASIA)to make my curls stay in place.

-I just found that BB'S Hair grease makes my curls look Indian ..lol...Anyways I rub alittle of that on my hair and it waves up really nicely

-I Wash/cowash/condition my hair every other day or at least every 3 days ..when my hair is clean it feels better and its easier to grow.

-Tying my hair up really brings the waves out...When I dont comb my hair and just tye it up after putting my products on ...My hair pops !!!

My curls pop when I leave a little conditioner in after co-washing.
Putting some oil on my ends with conditioner really helps too.
Butters like Coconut and Hemp Seed really lay the frizz down so that my curls are very visible.
And some hair gels. But I don't use any of that stuff anymore.

    Regimen:
    Wash and condition weekly.
    Allow to air dry.
Apply oils to hair and scalp.
Gently brush through and wear a simple style.

    Pointers:
-I allow my hair to dry almost completely before styling, brushing or combing (aside from shower detangling).
-I trim only when absolutely necessary.
-I only wear like one or two oils. Products are too complicated sometimes.

I second the Denman brush. I use it on my daughter's hair and it creates nice spiral curls. I sprayed her hair tonight with some water and glycerine, and then put some pure shea butter on each section before brushing.

    Ok hun, they're discontinued
They discontinued selling them at many Sally's, from what I hear.
I got mine beforehand. You may have to opt for the Goody knockoff or order it online.
