I have twistout pics in my album and braid out pics here, the last post of this page:

For the braidout I just moisturised my hair with ORS Incredibly Rich Olive Oil Moisturiser and braided in about six sections, then undid them the next morning. When I did the twist out the products I used were ORS Incredibly Rich Olive Oil Lotion, ORS Mousse, Fantasia IC Frizz Buster Creme and Fantasia IC Gel with Olive Oil (the green one). The mousse was unnecessary though

I use ORS Twist & Lock Gel and Castor oil for my twists. Yesterday I tried Lil Better Butter from knapsgirl.com after the gel and only put castor oil on my ends. My hair is really soft today. I usually don't twistout until I've worn them for at least 4 days, but I'm sure if I were to take out today, the twistout would have a defined hold.

Your hair is sooooo cute! One day I'm going to bravely try to twist my hair. I will use the regime you have listed.

Hello. When i used cantu shea butter for a twist out or braid out, i only use oil or a butter with it to help seal in the moisture. My reason for only using the oils or butter is because i find that if i use a gel or any other water-based product with the cantu shea butter it forms white flaky clumps in my hair. I also find that whenever i use my cantu shea butter, my face would break out even if i used a small amount, but that may just be some reaction my skin has with the product itself. HTH

I really like using the ORS lock and twist gel for both braid and twist out styles.

I cannot handle the braid out yet on my TWA. I am trying to master the flat twist out, however it is my go to style at the moment.
