I watch infomercials too much and discovered the kiyoseki flat iron infused with tormaline and minerals that keep your hair from drying hair. I got it about a few months ago and I love it. It gets hot in like 1.1 seconds!!! In the near future I want to get a chi blow dryer from folica. They have some good stuff. Ima go on the website and check out the one you got.

I hate my current flat iron, just one of the cheap ones from the local drug store. Costco has the Chi Flat iron on sale for $74.99. How many of you have this and think it's worth it?

I recommend the Sedu Revolution or the Amika because they don't break as easily as the CHI.

    Maxiglide MP....
It's awesome... but, you have to have your hair completely detangled.
And Conair Silver Tourmaline 3/4 inch - It keeps my hair from breakage and it heats in less than 3 seconds... great flat iron!

    Regimen:
    Wash and condition weekly.
    Allow to air dry.
Apply oils to hair and scalp.
Gently brush through and wear a simple style.

    Pointers:
-I allow my hair to dry almost completely before styling, brushing or combing (aside from shower detangling).
-I trim only when absolutely necessary.
-I only wear like one or two oils. Products are too complicated sometimes.

Definitely spend some good money on it! I've gone through 4 flat irons in 2 years.... I would suggest spending at least $75 on it. My Conair cost $74.99 at Target and my Maxiglide MP cost $80 at a clearance at Linen's N Things...

    CHI is good

I love my trusty GVP flat iron from Sally's. Its suppose to be comparable to CHI but I have never used a CHI to tell the difference. But I really like it and it was affordable about $59-$69. I would highly recommend it. I used it on my hair for the pic in my av.

oh yeah and I'm wondering .. what exactly should I look for in a good quality flat iron??? I see those that boast 'Tourmaline' where others only say they are 'Ceramic'.. some mention BOTH. I checked out the iron CreoleSugar just got and it mentions being a 'deodorizer'... I'm not sure I really need that.. or do I ??

so whats the better iron that'll not dry my hair out???? I hear the Chi's are top of the line, BUT Ive heard that there are a few others that offer the same benefits w/o costing a fortune. I hear my gold n hot is a complete No-No
