Cleanser
Daily: Dr. Bronner's Shikakai Soap in Spearmint/Peppermint
Deep Conditioner
Weekly: LeKair Olive Oil Cholesterol
Protein Treatments
Every 2 weeks: ApHogee 2-Minute Reconstructor
Every 6 weeks: ApHogee 2-Step Treatment
Clarifier
Every 2 weeks: ION Hard Water Shampoo (or) Baking Soda
Oil/Sealant
Daily: Wild Growth (and/or) Vegetable Shortening
Protective Styles
Chignon/Bun
Tucked-in Ponytail
Octopus Clip Updo
Banded Ponytail
Braided Ponytail
Nightly Routine
1. Shampoo hair with Dr. Bronner's Shikakai Soap.
2. Rinse under shower water.
3. Detangle from ends to root with wide tooth comb, followed by the Denman.
4. On wet hair, apply the Vegetable Shortening. (Sometimes I add Wild Growth).
5. Smooth hair into clip/ponytail/bun. (If there are fuzzies, I use a baby brush to smooth my hair back).
6. Tie down with a Durag or scarf.
This is all I do. I don't heat style, trim or do any fancy styling whatsoever.
