ok so i am new to this and i am very intrigued by this... the fact i can grow my hair extremely long with very little hair care... doing nothing gets everything!!!

i have been bunning for four days and i am not sure i am doing this right... i am currently color-treated and at sl (shoulder length).. my previous routine was to perm every three months (without it my hair is unruly) i dc every time i perm religiously and i also trim if there is a need... but now that it is shoulder length it seems like i am trimming all the time and i know it is because my hair is rubbing against my clothes i also wash my hair once a week with a dc because my color-treated hair (which is now the ends) can get extremely dry.I use pantene pro-v the kind for black women lol and i find that to work in keeping my hair moisturized beacuse its packed with oil.i dont use gel and i i only use heat when i flat iron my hair n blow dry on the lowest setting possible once a wk after the weekly wash.during the week i just wrap and make sure that i moisturize very heavily for dryness. last color has been the harshest on my head LIGHT GOLDEN HONEY BLONDE it was cute but reeked havoc on my hair.dried it out profusely causing me to keep it moisturized but i live in md and the air is so dry!

so my bunning (primarily be my main style)regimen will consist of damp bunning and air drying since my hair isnt that long now and cowashing twice a week with v05 and i will moistuize with coconut oil and keep washing w creme of nature detangling conditioning shampoo it works great! and i figure i should stay away from heat and as little manipulation as possible. n i think im only gonna use a comb when i detangle for my weekly washes and not for my cowashes (finger combing then) i also think i should try lustrasilk hair cholestrol with placenta and jojoba oils. i think this is where i should start... grapeseed oil or EVOO to seal i definetly want to seal all the moisture in my ends.i hope this is a good start

i am trying hard to stay with my regimen but this is so hard bc i am so used to my hair... now its like my main focus is my face... im not insecure about how i look but i jus feel i guess a little de-feminized so today i put on sum eye liner n mascara and eye shadow n sum really cute earrings and jazzed my outfit up... i mean i really tried to do my eye makeup good but i really dont this much so i aint a pro... lol thats y i jus stick to my eye makeup.. n i also have fairly nice skin so i dont need concealer and all that other stuff... i think imma try and post a picture today to show everybody... i jus pulled my hair back into a neat bun n being that i am going on two weeks post my edges is fairly smooth down so it looks very neat... i also washed my hair last night with jus water it felt like i was getting a little build up but i aint didnt wanna wash it jus yet... but afterwards it felt softer and less crunchy... does anybody else have this problem if so what do u do to combat it?
