Transitioning?

Posted 07-11-2009 at 02:14 PM by Marsy
There is a question mark in this title because I am not 100% decided that transitioning is for me.

I've been relaxed since primary school days, and my hair is RATHER nappy, 4b I believe. Anyway...I'd been struggling with my hair a lot over the last few years, with lots of breakage etc since I migrated. Sooo I've been asking myself if being natural is the best thing for my hair, since though it has improved recently, it is now thinner than it used to be, and very dry.

Stalled!

Posted 07-11-2009 at 01:54 PM by Marsy
I don't know why...but my exercise regime has just fallen by the wayside. After I made such good progress, I just...stopped. And the weight I lost has crept back on.

It seems LIFE has just gotten in the way of me making the time to put that dvd on and prance around my living room. I'm up at 5.30am and rushing around the house, getting ds and myself ready to leave by 7. Then I work, pick ds up and get home, to do dinner, spend quality time etc. Then tidy up, then bed....

A healthier me - the journey continues

WELL I've lost count of the number of weeks I've been doing this...I've lost weight, and I've regained it. I'm frustrated and I seem to have lost my drive. Personal issues make it even more discouraging but I press on.

Tomorrow we head to Cornwall on holidays and there is a GYM on site for me to play with. My gym gear is all packed and I pray this will be the thing that kickstarts my weight loss. Fingers crossed!!!

A healthier me - Week 4

Posted 05-24-2009 at 04:11 PM by Marsy
Whoever invented exercise needs a good talking to!! Happily I've lost two more pounds (4 in total), but MAN is exercise hard when you haven't done it in ages!!!!!

Though I'm losing weight, my tummy hasn't budged and is still wayyy out there. I am not a big person by any means but my waistline is just ridiculous....how many abs does a girl need to do to get a flat tum anyway????

A healthier me - Week 3

Posted 05-14-2009 at 03:34 PM by Marsy
Where did the time go??? I missed week two's report!

Anyway, it's been a wobbly few weeks on my weight loss journey. I've lost two pounds so far, I wish it was more but it's still something, right?

I've been eating well, as always, but I really need to E-X-E-R-C-I-S-E....the dreaded word...

I'll be making more of an effort to get in shape for sure. I did one dvd last week and BOY was I gasping halfway through. To think I used to be a gym buff!...
