I AM NEW AT THIS SO PLEASE FORGIVE ME IF I MISS SPELL ETC. OK, WELL ANYWAY I JUST TURN 40 THIS PAST JUNE 08, AND AM JUST TRYING TO GET USE TO IT, AND THE CHANGES IT COMES WITH EVEN BAD HAIR DAYS
WELL I HAVE SHORT, COURSE, THICK DRY HAIR. AND DO NOT KNOW HOW TO TAKE CARE OF IT ANYMORE ALL MY LIFE I'VE WORN EITHER BRAIDS, JERRYCURLS, OR RELAXERS. SO NOW RECENTLY I HAD A RELAXER, AND NOW ITS GROWING OUT AND I CAN'T KEEP IT GOING ANYMORE DUE TO LACK OF MONEY ETC. SO I DECIDED TO GO BACK TO BRAID, TWISTES ETC. AND SEE HOW THAT GOES.

Hmmm.... do you do weekly conditioner washes ?
If not you should so your hair isn't dry and and dont rinse the conditioner out. and see how that goes |

to add more advice, it is important to find a good leave in conditioner too. I don't really have any suggestions since the one that works the best for me so far is very greasy.
i am struggling to find one that softens my hair without the greasiness..... ![]() What I currently use is Jam Gel...when applied it seems thick and sticky but after a few minutes it really softens up. I also oil my scalp with dr. miracle products. I love the way it feels on my scalp...I prefer the temple and nape balm and i simply part and greasy my scalp with it.![]() I don't shampoo my hair really, well twice to three times a month...instead I rinse-condition it which works really well too. I hope this helps...good luck and many blessings...xoxo |
