The Beginning/The Start Over!

November 14th 2009 is the new beginning of my hair journey, the reason being is I had a baby in August 2009 and my last relaxer was December 12th 2009.
Almost a year since that creamy crack touch this scalp, in all honest there are few on this forum that are trying to keep me away from my beloved but I am just not ready yet.
Anyways with this new beginning I have learnd alot since my hair journey from June 2008, so with all that I have learned and research ans still learning I might had, I intend to fully incorporate this in growing my hair out long and maintaining a healthy head of hair.
I am planning on texalaxing Decemeber 31st 2009, and I say TEXALXING as I apply oils/preservo to my hair prior to apllying the relaxer and I also do not let the relaxer stay on the my no more than 10mins if that long, i just want my curls to be loose enough to comb and style nicely
Anyways as of today I will be keeping a log of what I do on a regular basis to my hair along with updated pictures hopefully with every entry.
Tonight I did a ayurvedic treatment I use 1/2 bottle of coconut oil and mix in shikakai and amla powder and thoroughly stir well.
I then apply from root to the tip of my hair, I then rinse well with very warm water until the water was clear and then a co-wash twice to remove any further residue that may remain in my hair.
Afterwards I mixed in some castor in a contain with my ORS replenishing conditioner and part small sections of my hair and apply the conditioner, I am now sitting under my dry with a plastic cap on for approximately 35mins, I will then rinse thoroughly and slightly dry my hair and apply castor to my roots and ORS Incredible Rich Moisturizing Lotion from root to tip and then I will do plaits/three strand twist out and then dry slightly under the dryer and will loose them out tomorrow to see results.
I will then post pics to show my results lward have mercy I hope they turn out really well.
Watch the space!
