Relaxer: August 25th

Ok...let me tell you guys I loved it...
I added coconut oil to my relaxer (profectiv super) and actually a lot spilled out into the kit so it was a lot of oil that I used but it worked wonders still...It reduced the burning feelig and when I washed the relaxer out it had my hair feeling so soft and silky and smooth...even today (weeks after my relaxer) my hair feels this way and I attribute it to the coconut oil cause any other time it would not feel this good.
I left my relaxer in for twelve minutes and even though it seems like a long time my hair was not completely straigtened. I thikn it was because of the coconut oil. I have a lot of waves in my hair now so it is texlaxed. I love it too. They are not as kinky as my new growth prior and they are much more manageable.
I will definitely do this again because it was so nice. Next time, since I have different textures in my hair though I will relax the middle section in my hair first so it will process longer and then the front back and edges.
