Victoria's Secret Hair Porducts

If you're like me, when you think Victoria's Secret you think, under wear, lotions, body sprays, perfumes, models, PINK, lingerie, even regular everyday clothing you get from their catalogs. Not once did I think hair care....that is until I joined the hair boards. Honestly every time I went into my neighborhood VS I never even saw that they had hair care items in the store! Since then, I have tried quite a few of their products for the hair. This will be a series of blogs in which I do reviews on all of the VS hair products I have tried.
First up, The VS So Sexy Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner for dry/damaged hair. They come in a slender maroon bottle, and there's a reason why they named Them So Sexy. The smell is simply intoxicating!! A lot of ladies feel They smell like "Body by Victoria". I feel that they smell knock your socks off good. The other plus about them is that they do moisturize the hair. I've found that although the shampoo does have a sulfate in it, it still does a good job at moisturizing my hair. It's not as good as my 2 favorite shampoos, but it does a good enough job to be a product from a company that really isn't a hair care company. The shampoo contains Rosemary and chamomile extracts to maintain silkiness. It also has a "shine intensifier complex" that's supposed to create healthy, shiny, easy-to-manage hair. I don't use it often enough to really reap the benefit of this ingredient, but when I do use them I do get some shine to my hair. The Conditioner is quite thick and goes onto the hair quite well! It contains Sunflower seed oil and silk amino acids to provide intense conditioning. it also has the "Shine Intensifier Complex". I've used this conditioner as a deep conditioner before and oh my did it provide me with moisture. Not too much slip though, wich was okay b/c me Nexxus leave in does an excellent job at that! I give thses products 4 out of 5 stars. My next review will be on the VS So Sexy Serum and the VS straightening balm, so stay tuned!
