I couldn't resist copy/pasting this recipe I found off yahoo answers for another poster... I would also love to try this recipe on my dd/self as well...I think the posters name was Abby. Can't wait to try this one!... thought I'll blog it here (for future reference).

"Before she gets older and can straighten it, I would recommend these recipes to make her hair silkier and straighter (use these no more than once a week):"
BANANA DEEP CONDITIONER
1/2 Banana
1/4 Cup Milk
Mix these together and then wet hair. Rub this into hair and put a shower cap over head and leave for 20 minutes.
HOT OIL TREATMENT2/3 Cup (Hot) Oil
Rub this into hair, put on shower cap, and then leave for 20 minutes.
I'd also recommend using a very deep, vitamin-enriched conditioner. You can also rub an egg into her hair once a month. Use a wide-tooth comb. These recipes will help your daughters hair become silky, straighter, and under control. Good luck!
