Are you using ^^^^^ for moisture? tell me about it

Yea I am using it for moisture.

It does need to be applied regularly (I am not using it exclusively, 1 because I am stretching and it is very difficult to lay my hair flat without using heat, and two because it is running out, and I will take the mick if I try ask my bf to get it for me... I might soon though!)

I like it. It is light. In an ideal world I would use it twice a day, as it is not greasy... but I should still experiment with other products on the market... I a thinking if others don't work, I should try to slyly give them to the bf

IDK why, but I'm just now seeing this. Please forgive me Marsy. Yes they do hair and IMO they do it well. All except for their volumizing spray and their Shine spray. Those two are full of alcohol and they dried my hair out! The serum is awesome!!! It provides a long lasting shine and the smell is awesome! The shampoo and conditioner are good too. I DC with the conditioner, b/c it has Polyquaternium in it, and my hair feels and smells so good! I think that stuff has pheromones in it b/c my DH goes crazy whenever I use it. LOL :D I did some reviews on them in the blog section.

I'll repurchase Millennia Mud reconstructor, Mane N Tail herbal gro leave in cream, and Nexxus Phyto Organics Nectaress again and again.

White gals like their products :D They must be onto something. I went to try out their products and they smell GOOD! They work too and the packaging is very pretty.

I think I would continue to purchase Dr. Bronner's Castile Soap and Magic Pump Soaps. I'm on my 4th or 5th large bottle. They are the best alternatives to shampoo. The ones with Shikakai keep my hair strong and smelling good.

And how can I forget my beloved tub of vegetable shortening? :D That has been my staple for the past year or so. My hair has never looked better, my curls have never held longer and stayed curly without crunchiness, and I don't smell like butter (you guys think Crisco smells like butter...they do have unscented).

And I do scrape it out and put it into another container...I don't want my roommate looking like this .

ORS Incredibly Rich Moisturising Lotion

Tresemme Moisture Rich Shampoo and condish (these 2 are my definite staples, I don't even think I will repurchase any of the other shampoos I use now, not even the natural one. I used the natural one 2 weeks ago and I had to whip out my Tresemme to clean up a mess. One lather and my hair was awesome. As for the condish, amazing slip and leaves my hair incredibly soft after rinsing, also toying with the idea of using it as a leave in sometimes, because I mixed it with some coconut oil as a pre-poo last week and my hair was very curly)

Motions CPR Leave-in makes detangling a dream and leaves my hair soft and nice, I also just looooooooove the smell.

Shea butter and coconut oil.

Jasons Sea Kelp condish, I no longer like the shampoo but I won't do without the condish. My hair soaks it up and stays soft and nice, although I will try the Aloe condish once this one is finished.

Olive Oil Eco Styler!- Used it to put my hair in a pony, and it held all day, no flyaways! Also is great for shingling.

(Lavender) Jamaican Black Castor Oil, I think* it is contributing to my hair growth.

Organic Root Stimulator Oil Oil- For db, it helps keep his scalp moisturized, I use it to blow dry, and for my ends every once in a while.

Africa's Best Ultimate Oil- Cheaper than African Royale's Hot Six Oil, and works amazingly on my hair. Stays moisturized, and smells nice, also gives nice sheen.

Organic Root Stimulator Replenishing Conditioner- My hair always feels strong, and soft after use.

V05 Strawberries & Cream (Shampoo) Conditioner & V05 Calming Chamomile Tea Therapy, V05 Herbal Escapes Kiwi Lime Shampoo

Home Health Castor Oil- thicker than JBCO, but is great for sealing, and prepoo's.

Cayenne Pepper!- for hair growth

Motions Foam Wrapping Lotion- for rod sets

Mommie8, I love agave nectar and use it as a natural sweetener all of the time. What does it do for the hair, and how do you use it?

I can't honestly say what it does for my hair, but I use it like I would use honey which help define my curls alot, and I add it to my prepoo and dc sometimes. I read on another hair board that it was popular with alot of ladies for hair care, so I decided to give it a try. The agave nectar I got is light I just noticed that the other day so its not as heavy as honey. I went out and got some more honey today.

Oh yeah I also used it on my baked sweet potatoe with some cinnamon and brown sugar. I think I'll be using it for that purpose now :D

I like using the peppermint oil in my dc, and the rosemary oil in my water moisturzing spritz, also in my cayenne pepper treatments (pastes).

Yes the rosemary is very strong I only use like 2-3 drops.

I have both of these and I see them both plenty on the shelves. I know the CON will soon faze out, but the Lekair Cholesterol really? As I just bought a 5lb tub of it and I see a lot of the 20oz tub around. Clarify so I can go clear the rest out off the shelves lol

BB oil moisturizer (I love the way this leaves my hair feeling... so soft and thick and bouncy!)
Curl Keeper (adds extra definition and shine like a cone but is completely water based and cone free)
Suave Almond & Shea Butter conditioner - this moisturizes my hair so well and has fantastic slip
Africa's Best Organic hair mayonnaise - makes an awesome weekly protein treatment for my hair
Africa's Best herbal oil - the best hair oil I've ever used

That's all I can really think of for now.

Yes Leen!!!! This one too!!! I love it.

I love it so much and I bought 2x 16oz bottles when I was in the US as it is sooo much cheaper there than here and I have never seen the 16oz bottle here.

I also bought Aubrey Honey Suckle Rose, Aubrey Jojoba & Aloe Desert herb Revitalizing Conditioner and Aubrey Island Naturals replenishing Conditioner <- I have not use any of these yet it will be my first time using them, so i hope I will like them as much as I like the Aubrey GBP conditioner.

Shea Moisture Yucca and Aloe thickening cream. It says it's for thickening thin hair but it works wonders as a leave-in after washing and during the week. It has vegetable protein so it's not hardcore, has biotin which is supposed to thicken as well as yucca and aloe to moisturize. I definitely don't hate it.
